4.5 stars. One of the best things I've read in awhile. I don't think I can say enough good things about Wool Omnibus. I hate to oversell, but it's been a really long time since I've been so emotionally invested in the characters that I'm literally, verbally cheering or uttering cries of dismay at numerous junctures while reading, but that happened throughout books 4 & 5.

My three-star rating doesn't mean I didn't like Wool, just that I try to reserve four- and five-star ratings for truly earth-shattering, life-changing books. This was a great short read on my Kindle, what a great story, this is such an interesting and intense Science Fiction story. The setting, the plot, just everything about Wool makes me want to find out more about what is happening to the people in the silo, as well the world that surrounds them, it really delivered an emotional punch is a very short time and I need to read more!

One word for this series - Wow. I am not a sci fi/fantasy reader, and this book actually fits into the Dystopian genre, but I had heard about this series and decided to give it a try. I could not put it down. My top read of the year so far. Dont shy away from the length - it will be worth it.
