Plague is the fourth instalment in the Gone series. Given that I felt like the third book in the series was a bit too much like filler for something bigger, there was some pressure on this book in my eyes to push on and improve.
This time around the plot has a number of different strands to it. There is, of course, the plague, which should come as a surprise to no one, causing a medical epidemic in the FAYZ beyond anything that has been seen thus far. It has even struck down Little Pete. But bey ...more

Another awesome installment in the Gone series. 4th book in and it is a doozy!

if I had to describe this book in one phrase I would probably go with "deeply traumatizing."

I started this book, and was a bit afraid... I love Astrid and Sam, and even if they are a bit apart, I believe it will only take time and for Astrid to fight some of her demons.
So when Sam got drunk and kissed Bounce girl, it was like :(, but the book developed really well after that, and focus in the important points, the plague, and the eating bugs, it was amazing.
