A good read for its detailed account of a family in hiding and a personal description of the Nazi persecution. I can't imagine what she had to endure. It's a diary, though, of a very young girl. As such, the reader is able to see her grow and navigate her world within captivity. She's annoyingly moody for the first half of the book, but who can blame her for that?
