I am reading “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”, Dahl (1964) with one of my students—and even though it is marketed as a children’s tale, it is a sinister story of oppression and class.

Welcome to the chocolatey sweet fantasy book. As you know, this book is the basis of two movies(the original movie was 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory', and the second one has the same name of this book, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.) The most significant reason why I chose this book is my fascination with Johnny Depp. The cover of the book attracted me.

What an awesome story of choices and consequences told in the fantasy world of Mr. Willy Wonka. I can read it over and over.
