Clockwork Angel reminds me of City of Bones, because I didn't love the first half of the book, but once the plot started progressing I was sucked right in. Cassandra Clare has a huge talent for writing, and her strengths shine brighter than ever in this prequel to the Mortal Instruments.

This was a great book. The same story line of the city of bones series but it was historical. OF course it was left with many unanswer questions. But i trust the author to answer all my questions in future books and i'm looking forward to them all. The author keeps you biting your nails and the turns and twist are believable in this fantasy world. I'm not a historical buff but i love reading the stories when they are believable for the time. Cassandra Clare is one of my favs! I love how she keeps you from putting the book down and keeps your eyes glued to the page. The story is set in England around the Queen Victoria time period. Its a fantasy with vampires, warlocks and etc. Its about a young girl, Tessa, who is going to find her brother and it turns out not the way she expected. She finds out she is a Downworlder with powers and has to decide who is on her side and who is out to kill her.
