In 23 days I'll be 18. That's part of the reason why I'm giving Clockwork Princess five stars, even if it may not deserve all of them.
There were definite imperfections within the finale of the Infernal Devices trilogy. Some of the plot twists could have been easily predicted ahead of time. The characters leaped out of their personalities for the sake of the plot, and there was a repetitiveness to the story structure I found irksome (how many times can you end a chapter with someone screaming?) I believe myself to be too emotionally traumatized to write a good review on this book but here goes...*DEEP BREATH*
Tessa Gray should be happy. She has a golden wedding gown in her wardrobe, James is in as good of health as can be expected, and even Church seems to be in a good temperament. However, the Shadowhunters are never sa ...more
THE INFERNAL DEVICES ARE WITHOUT PITY.
THE INFERNAL DEVICES ARE WITHOUT REGRET.
THE INFERNAL DEVICES ARE WITHOUT NUMBER.
THE INFERNAL DEVICES WILL NEVER STOP COMING.

Cassandra Clare told how she was in England sitting in a park plotting for Clockwork Princess and a large worm crawled onto her blanket and she said, "there's going to be a worm in the book."
And indeed the book has a large vicious worm attacking the shadowhunters and this is where the book starts out. Tessa shows up to help in her wedding dress and ends up getting blood all over it. Jem takes a turn for the worse and needs more medicine. With Tessa & Jem engaged, Will has to push his love for T ...more

I loved Clockwork Princess. It is my favorite book EVER. I love Will and him and Tessa's bittersweet last moment together. I wish we found out more about their kids and stuff but what evs. I can't wait for the last installment of the mortal instruments series.

This book was BEAUTIFUL.
It is my favorite in the series and truly one of the best books I've ever read. The intensity of the emotions I experienced - I literally screamed and had to stop reading at several intervals throughout the book.
I don't think reading could get much better than this.

What can I say, a bittersweet end to a beautiful series. These characters will stay with me for a very long time. I admit I loved them much more then I thought they would! Def a series I would recommend to everyone who loves to read! This trio (Tessa, Will and James) will forever be kept in my heart!

WOW. This was amazing. The way Cassandra Clare wove these stories together blew my mind. I sat for hours when I was done reading just saying "holy crap, oh my gosh". This story broke my heart, repeatedly and I loved it so much.
