another great book by Shelly Crane. I love how in the midst of tragedy and heartbreak, love finds a way. And even with all the bad stuff taking place in story, I found myself smiling quite a bit at the 2 main characters, Alex and Elena. oooh do I love me some Alex. ;)

This was a very interesting book. Only Shelly Crane could take a subject like human trafficking and write a romance. This was the only book I haven't read by Ms. Crane. Her Significance series is my all time favorite and has made me a full lifeime fanatic.

Wow! What an amazing story! I really wasn’t sure what to expect when I started this. I knew it would be a little scary and emotional but I never expected so many wonderful romantic moments! Elena is such a beautiful person. She’s had a very difficult life so far but she still remains loving, forgiving, and has an incredible amount of faith in herself, God, and humanity in general. I was seriously worried when I started this book. I wanted so bad to like it because I love all of Shelly's other books. The story line scared me at first but in true Shelly form, the characters captured my heart.

The story is about human trafficing which is a part of this world's harsh reality. But more than that it's about people being able to over come their trials and pain in life if they choose to rise above. Someone else choices do not have to define who you are or how you choose to live. ...more

This is a story of an unfortunate thing happening everyday. It is about human trafficking. The author draws you in and and makes you feel the plight of Elena who is kidnapped after work while she is waiting for a bus and the other girls she meets. This is a wonderful story of Elena and how she became part of the human trafficing world in the U.S. The author wrote the story without going into the chilling details of this tragedy. Elena falls in love with Alex, the husband who forced her (stole) to be his wife. The story ends in triumph.
