In Terry Pratchett's world...
The protagonist expects that anything that can go wrong will go wrong, and he's right.
The hero lags behind in conversations, and receives his pay in photographs.
The tourist's luggage is more loyal than a dog and has a tongue and lots and lots little legs.
The princess poisons her father but he refuses to be buried.
And Death will hand you a match to light the fire that will explode and kill you.
I really enjoyed this book. This isn't Terry Pratchett's best work ...more
