Read with my friend, Susan. Her choice. A wild and crazy ride for sure!
It's not fair. I'm going to have to try this one again.
Abridged thoughts: I ordered it from the library and didn't suspect anything until the library eaudio had 3 files. Only 3 hours? Yep, an abridged book, dramatized. The quality wasn't great (but at least the book, if not the recording, is older than I am). It was read by the author, whose voice wasn't well-edited. It had lots of cool special effects, though (thunder, demon voices, etc.).
