The author does an excellent job of painting a very realistic picture of life without being utterly demoralizing. The characterization is amazing, all the more because it shows the protagonist's faults and the antagonists' virtues without excusing the protagonist for her faults or the antagonists for their vices.

*sighs* I got really irritated with a couple of the characters and stopped reading this one. When i feel motivated and less annoyed I'll come back to it. For the most part I really just ...more

What fun this was! I loved the narrator Kate Reading.She did such a great job with male and female voices. This is an unabridged version, and is 31 hours and 52 min long. As far as the story goes, all I have to say is Yeah!!Dorothea, and BOOOOOOO! Rosamunde.
