This was a really sweet read. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Georgie was forced to move away from her childhood home and always longed to return. After five long years she is finally able to return to her Grandfather in Colorado. Once back she immediately runs into her childhood crush and the fun really begins. Georgie is a really likable character. She speaks her mind and yet is very sweet and loving. She cares deeply for her family and friends. Our leading man, Ridge, is also very l ...more

First line:

"Georgie ran behind the tree in a fit of giggles, slowly peeking around to see if he had followed her."

Cute romance.

Georgie is pulled from the only life and family she knows by her mother who is trying to recover from a broken heart to move to NYC. After five years, Georgie returns to help her grandfather on the cattle ranch he owns. Enter the boy, who also works on the ranch. Sparks start a-flyin' but Georgie is close to a man in NYC.

I was often confused by the switch in point of vi

Currently reading and don't know if I can finish. I love fluff, but only if that fluff is well-written. Well-written this is not. I gagged on reading about the main girl's (I don't know her name and I don't care) "perfect heart-shaped lips" and her "small pink" toes. And don't get me started on whathisname's description. And I can't understand why she is so angry at whathisname when her thoughts are all about kissing him and seeing him without a shirt. What in the heck is wrong with her? And the ...more

Book. Just a fun romance fun read. Friends separated in youth. 5 years apart they get back together.

This is really a 4.5 rating. Too bad Goodreads doesn't have a way to do 1/2 stars.

I really love a good romance story. A story that reminds me what it was like to fall in love. The tingles that you get when you first hold a hand and the anxiety in whether or not he really loves you.

This is a really sweet love story. It is about two friends who are separated while young. They have the school age crush and somehow never really quite got over the other while they were spending five years apart.

So, so, so cute! Georgiana grew up in the late 1800s in Colorado, but was suddenly moved to New York (along with her mom and brothers) to live with an aunt when her dad died. Five years later, she decided to return to help her grandpa out. And guess who's his right hand man? Her old crush, Ridge.

It was sad to me that she lost touch with her best friend, but they quickly stepped right back into things. Ridge was great! Georgie was quite a tease and a lot of fun. Cute and clean!!

I get really annoyed by books like this..."I like him, but I think he hates me because he kissed me and that must mean he can't stand to be around me so I'll just pretend I don't like him except that I am deeply in love with him and can't live without him" blah, blah, blah. I honestly am not sure why I read it but it wasn't so awful that I didn't finish it. It was wordy and mushy but I actually really liked the story line-the actual romance was a bit too much for me. It was as clean. If you like ...more

Cute and clean book. The romance/teasing reminded me a little of Anne and Gilbert from Anne of Green Gables :)

Very enjoyable book. I liked the characters and the plot. Not too terribly complex, but sweet, light, and fun.

I think this book is more deserving of 3 3/4 stars. Just when I was getting a little tired of the misunderstandings going on amongst the parties in love, the story got a little shot of excitement. I think the last half of the book was my favorite. I also appreciated the epilogue. It's nice to know how everything turns out. ...more
