What Members Thought
I almost stopped reading what I originally perceived as a ridiculous hard to believe story. But I hung in there because I just couldn't put it down. It both shocked and intrigued me. I grew to love this family the more I read. I cried at the end. Walls is a talented writer who draws you in to her life, makes you laugh and yet be frustrated with this family. My only beef is all the cursing especially Jesus and God's name. I know--it's part of her dad's character. I still hate seeing the blasphemy
