Quite outstanding frankly. It's a slow paced novel and flagged a little in the middle for me but quite possibly because she is adept at slowly building the tension and revealing little pieces of information building to the heartrending or satisfactory? ending depending on your take on the characters motivations. There are no black and white villains here quite the opposite but rather individuals representative of society as a whole. Nigeria is falling apart politically and economically but some ...more
