Charles Arrowby is selfish, unwilling to listen to anyone, and I wouldn't be surprised if he had a personality disorder. One of the most liked reviews of this book points out the mental illnesses of the women characters that surround Charles, but never the fact that Charles himself is mentally ill and very likely an unreliable narrator. *judgmental eyebrow*
Anyway, this was really addicting and a perfect winter read. ...more
