An unexpected and slightly interesting twist around page 300 kept me from rating Caught 1 Star. I had too much trouble believing the storyline. I just could not suspend my disbelief. This is only the second book I've read by Harlan Coben, so the problem could lie at my feet. But how many times have I thrown a book screaming, "Harlan Coben, seriously? Really? You've. Got. To. Be. Kidding. Me!" My copy has fallen apart and now lies in the trash bin.

Totally awesome! I love some of Harlan's stand alone books. What am I talking about - I love ALL of his books, stand alone or otherwise. This is a great tale that leaves you dangling right through to the very end (although I did have my suspicions about Dan).

I borrowed this book from library at random because I have always liked reading Harlam Coben books. A really good read. I liked the turn around on the journalist where she got falsely implicated etc. I listened to this on audio and Wendy and the narrators voice did not sit perfectly well. I see her as a fine boned soft spoken woman. The narrator is not. That however folks is my own imagination and is a testament of how well this book is written.
