This is a continuation of book one, with Emma finding out her mother is the lost princess of Poseidon and not the ordinary human she believed. Once that gets straightened out the book shifts focus to be more a political detente between the Royal Syrena and the common Syrena. The Royals have to prove their worth and that they are doing what is best for Syrena, while also proving Nalia is really the lost princess of Poseidon.

My Thoughts: Since it’s been awhile since I read the first book I had to try to remember what happened. I knew there was a cliffhanger, but thats about it.
Once I dove into Of Triton I was right back there with Emma and her confusing life. She just found out that her mom is a Poseidon Princess. Except now her mom wants to run because too many people know about her. Emma doesn’t want to leave Galen but what choice does she have? She’s her mother!
Emma and her mom are on the run for about 50 pages ...more
