I love this book!!!!

The Seduction of Elliot McBride is the fifth book in the series featuring the Mackenzies; one more kilted Scotsman to enjoy.
Juliana St. John is waiting at the church to be married when she finds out that her fiance has eloped with his piano teacher. She goes into a small chapel to calm down and when she sits down on a pew, she finds herself sitting on the thighs of Elliot McBride. She hasn't seen Elliot in years since he was in India making his fortune. She asks him to marry her.

I am forever amazed at the creativity and talent of my favorite authors. This is another example of a very touching and unique storyline.

2025 Review
I did a reread of this one here and it was a blast. I honestly couldn't put it down. I was so swept away by this story and THIS is what I have been missing in historical's. the set up was fascinating, and seeing them renovate a old mansion was neat and loved the suspense plot. Seeing the hero push through his PTSD just kept me up all night. I loved their swoony moments of this.
