I gave the book five out of five stars because it was very well written, had a great story, flowed and gave great detail for the romance. Normally I do not read steam punk romances, but this one did well for me. I like Phoebe's strong female role and I liked Seth's charm. I liked that I couldn't figure out who the villain was until the very end, the person responsible for the murder. It definitely left me guessing until the very end.

So, WOW! Calista Taylor did a fantastic job with this book. I loved every second of it. The beginning grabbed me and each chapter pulled me through to the end. I fell in love with Pheobe and felt every bit of her emotions with her. The anger, the pain, the happiness. Even the part with her and Victor at his home(What part? Read it, you'll see)had my stomach in knots. I loved it, this book was amazing. And it was the first Steampunk I've ever read. Well done! I will be going to Amazon and buying
