Haven't elarned much yet, other than I want to keep reading! The book is part of a gift set of all 10 in the series which I got for father's day - the benefits of a family that listen to what dad says he would like, and the fact that the Book People is currently selling the set for £9.99!

Well written and well plotted police procedural. Not as good as The Laughing Policeman but still a top notch piece of work.

I can't believe this book is from the 60s. This series must have been a huge influence on contemporary Scandinavian crime fiction/mystery writers of tooday. Good stuff, indeed.
