Thankfully this series is finally becoming a bit more comprehensible. The plot really moved and I was excited to see the crew make more discoveries on their path to Glendower. I particularly loved the side characters in this book, especially Jesse and Piper. There was a lot of setup for some big showdowns in the next book and I'm looking forward to seeing how it all plays out.

"Wake up."
I'm not sure where to start, because I love Stiefvater's writing and this series so much. The third book in The Raven Cycle is exciting not only because our group is closer than ever to finding Glendower, but Blue and her boys are unitedly falling into their individual roles and purposes in this quest. As always, I enjoyed the characters. I will admit I was disappointed as I drew near the ending and realized there was no possible way to wrap up everything. I thought this was the end of the series and read it with that in mind. There is still at least one book to come. For some that is probably awesome. For me, I was ready for this to be over. It isn't that I don't enjoy this series (although it is my least favorite of Maggie Stiefvater's series), but I was ready for it to be over. I am curious

4/2016 reread before the final book "the Raven King." I loved reacquainting myself with how the characters changed in this book. I definitely needed this reread, I feel like I didn't remember half of what happened.
