I don't usually like aliens, but I am Number Four is an exception! The story is actually 4 stars for me, but this is my review of the audiobook which was my second "reading." I really didn't care for the voice actor. The girl voices especially were just...not good. Side note: the other books in this series thankfully introduce female voice actors for those chapters told from the Lorien girls' perspectives.

Going into this book I knew it was going to be a movie so that took away from the writing some. I felt the book had the potential to be much better than the movie ended up being.
I wanted to really like this book. But I didn't. I liked it but didn't love it.
