This book was recommended to me multiple times, so I finally decided to see what the fuss was about. And I loved it. I was a bit hesitant at first because contemporaries often follow a pattern - boy meets girl = love - and I'm not saying this one differed a lot, but what was important to me was the feeling.

This book inspires this feeling of nostalgia. As Amy and Roger begin to cross the country, they break Amy's mother's schedule in a tiny rebellion, and start to see some of the strange wonders

Entre 3.5 y 4 aunque más cerca de 4. Me ha gustado bastante aunque no es como lo esperaba exactamente, lo que está bien porque me ha sorprendido. Creo que esperaba que tuviera un tono o estilo diferente pero al final lo he disfrutado mucho y me han entrado unas ganas enormes de hacer un road trip!

I liked the road-trip aspect of this book. It was fun to revisit some places I've actually been to and to discover some new locations as well. I also liked how music played into the telling of the story. There were some parts of the ending that weren't my favorite, but overall a fun read. 2.5 stars. ...more
