What Members Thought

My two favorite stories from this ended up being the Stephanie Perkins one (not unexpected as I quite enjoy her writing), and the one by Laini Taylor, which did suprise me because it was my first exposure (though The Daughter of Smoke and Bone has been on my to-read list forever).
In Perkins' story, I wanted it to be a whole book, I thought there was so much more to explore. And in Taylors' it was just so lyrical and magical.

I loved this!!! This book was so adorable and filled with fun, festive stories. Some I absolutely adored and others were more slow going, but they were all GOOD! Rainbow Rowell's was the best, and it stuck with me through the whole book. That easily could have been a full novel and I so wish it would have been!

overall a cute compilation of stories some better than others

Cute holiday stories told from 12 different authors. My favorites were "Midnights" by Rainbow Rowell, "Angels in the Snow" by Matt de la Pena, "It's a Yuletide Miracle, Charlie Brown" by Stephanie Perkins, and "Welcome to Christmas, CA" by Kiersten White. Some of the others were very good; others were kind of weird and hard to follow (the second and last stories in particular). Overall, a funny, sweet holiday read.

Wonderfully fun. I haven't read an anthology in a while and seemed to forget what a truly good one is like. I loved this one. Great authors, great diversity, great read. Highly recommend!
