Hmmmm not sure where to start with this review (haha).

Basically this book is your average girl meets guy in dreams. Guy turns out to be real. Weird science that cannot be explained thoroughly or even in a real belieavable manner, but who cares you're here for the love tale of dreams coming true! Oh and add Guy already having a girlfriend and the quirky best friends and bam you cooked yourself some Dreamology.

It was a pretty...weird book. Somehow the title suits it well enough. The mystifying concept of dreaming has always fascinated me, and when I read the book's summary I definitely knew I had to read this.

The book didn't quite go the direction I original thought it was heading. It was a bit wacky and unresolved through most of it. But overall I thought the book was okay, at best. It has some funny bits and it never left me bored. It had the neuroscientist character that turned out to be my favorite, what can I say, I'm an aspiring neuroscientist- got to throw the curve to those authors who try explaining the neuro stuff.

The romance was cute. A bit angsty in parts but still kinda sweet in a weird way. I did smile sheepishly at some moments and did internally 'aww' at others. The romance was probably my favorite part of the whole book.

The characters were likable but not very dynamic. Very static characters that change very little and almost generic to other characters.

Now for the Dislikes.

Warning :Slight Spoiler Alert

The topic of cheating in this book. I did not like it one bit, the author tried to justify the short term cheating but it is still NOT OKAY-Cheating is cheating no matter how much you want to sugar coated and sprinkle it with glitter. The author tried fixing the issue later but I didn't feel like the characters really felt that guilty for what they had done and then just let it be.
I didn't like how the book handle the mom at the end. Like they're all okay after what she has done. Ah no. No.

The unnecessary drama. Also the add on paragraphs that were so uncessary and did nothing for the plot. And finally...the way the plot dealt with the dream sequences . ...more
