What Members Thought
I'll give this two stars because it isn't a bad book, really -- but it didn't engage me. The thing is well plotted, but I found the "micro-writing," if you will, to be rather clumsy. Plus there's way too much banter between the characters. The author has hit on a gimmick, and she's exploiting it. Good for her. But as far as I am concerned, life is too short to waste it with disappointing books, and this book disappointed me. The characters are glittery enough but I could not connect with them. I
