When it takes me only 2.5 hours to read a book - that is telling you how much I loved it! Due to all the hype around this book, I kept pushing off reading it. I wanted my expectations to be mine and not put high just in case I didn't love it. When reading a very VERY hyped book, I want to be in the correct mindset to give it a true review. I will admit now, that I wished I picked this book up way sooner than I did.

An interesting read, full of action, a brave (maybe even too brave for her own good) protagonist and even YA politics.

On reread: I reread this entirely on a whim and for some reason I hadn't remembered liking it as much as I did. I really enjoyed it, the intrigue, the family drama. I had mostly forgotten the plot and the twists, so that was fun, even if some of the reveals seemed obvious long before they were revealed. I think I will finally continue with the series now, at long last.
