What Members Thought
I think what makes this series so addictive is all of the moving parts and pieces. The Wicked King is like a chess game. Everyone is playing for something, and Jude, to maintain her control over Cardan and the throne of Faerie, has to think of everyone's moves ahead of time and try to counteract them. Her one advantage is that she can lie, and the faeries can't. But that doesn't mean they are short of deceptions.

Went into it somewhat with reservations. Ended staying up until 4 finishing this. This book brought me an excruciating, alarming amount of distress.
