Shelves: teens, netgalley, 2014-a-z-series

I liked this book, but all her books are starting to feel the same. They are well written and have very likable characters, but they all seem to follow the same formula. You have a rich, attractive character with a messed up life. You have a poor, attractive character of the opposite sex with a messed up life. They meet, have a confrontation and sparks fly. Eventually they can't deny their attraction and end up falling in love, despite the world (including friends and family) being against them. ...more

I love the Pushing the Limits series. It has just the right amount of grit and angst. Each story has a Cinderella feel without being overly obvious and redundant. West is so sweet that he makes me want to find a guy just like him and Haley is so strong and loyal I truly admire her. I just hope this isn't the last book in this remarkable series. ...more
