This the second book in the Watson and Holmes series after A Study in Charlotte. Jamie and Charlotte are spending the winter break together and their differences are highlighted now that they are away from school. I liked the first book but this one wasn’t as good and it was hard for me to follow at the end. I’m still not sure what happened at the end with everyone and what each person was plotting. I just don’t understand why everyone in the Holmes family can’t communicate with the Watsons. I think the book had too many storylines to follow and not enough Jamie and Charlotte solving things together.
