I love reading YA fantasy that actually brings something new. First, the good. I absolutely loved Rielle. I also really enjoyed Eliana. I liked both their perspectives, I liked most of the side characters. I liked that it was unapologetically brutal in parts and tender in others. I liked that the sex scenes were not fade-to-black. I fortunately met Claire in May at Mysterious Galaxy bookstore. I bought this book as well. I found the writing to be refreshing. I love the idea of meeting two queens separated by time and passion. I found myself getting lost in their world. Claire does amazing world building and she created characters that you feel for. I would recommend this novel and the future of this series!
