When I heard about this sequel, I thought to myself, "Carry On was soo good. There is no way this book will have that same punch." But it does. This is one of the best sequels I have read in a while. Maybe the best ever. Rainbow Rowell continued with her Chosen One satire by asking the question, "What happens after the war is over? What does everyone do then?"

Rainbow Rowell knows her audience! This was delightful and ends letting you know there's more to come. More Ren Faire, please. Reminded me of one of the Sookie Stackhouse novels at times because of the hotel and what's going down there. While the wild west lore calls up visions of American Gods and Manifest Destiny. Omg, is Rainbow Rowell going to make a series out Simon and Baz, because I need more series in my life. I miss having books to look forward to. A lot of the series I adored have concluded. I hope this one hasn't!
