Suffered a bit from middle book syndrome. MUST read book 1 first. great period paranormal book, not just for teens; definitely 10th grade and up.
Somehow the creepiness of the sleeping sickness did not make the hairs on my neck stand up the same way as the whistling of Naughty Jack.

I love these books, and I really enjoy Evie and Theta's 20s vocabulary. Such a fun series. Can't wait for the next book to come out!
