I love small, quirky towns with their offbeat legends and ghost stories. The author did a fabulous job of building the backstory and tradition surrounding the Swan Sisters with short intro chapters interspersed throughout the narrative. 4.5*
Another book that makes me desperately wish for fraction star ratings. Through the first half of the story my rating was at 3.75. From the second half to the end of the story, it just kept getting better and better. By the end of the book, I was debating on 4.5 or 5 star. The ending to the story was just so beautiful, but the first half wasn’t quite five stars for me. There were a few things that were easily predictable, but didn’t take anything away from the story for me because the reveal ...more

The story drew me in quickly and was easy to read. It kept me turning pages to see why Bo was there, how was he important?
Would this summer be different or just like last summer?
