Another winner from Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. Following in the wake of their Illuminae success, we have yet another space adventure complete with corrupt government and sarcastic young adults. I listened to this as audiobook and was delighted to hear the same narrators from their previous series.

Unlike, Illuminae, though, Aurora Rising utilizes more straightforward storytelling, flipping between narrators each telling their piece of the story in first person. I kept getting feels of Star Tr

I really liked this! I found this book to be fun, enjoyable and all around very entertaining. I liked the plot and I really liked the characters. Now this wasn’t the most original sci-fi book I’ve ever read by any means. But it was quite good all around. I found this read fast and really gripped my attention. I definitely recommend this book.

Just finished at 3.30 AM. And I’m not okay.
The book is too good it broke me.

I was hooked after a few pages. The plot is original but what’s even more original is the cast. I expected as much from Amie and Jay after I read the Illuminae files. They do not disappoint.

I like how fast-paced the story moves. I admit that I often skip a lot of descriptions when I read. I like to dive into actions. But with this book, I found myself reading every word. The amount of description is just right.
