Stupidly cute story about reducing bitterness, learning to trust yourself, and finding calm. Interesting magical system where witches are only strong in their season and only have one flavor of seasonal magic (sorta like the courts of the Fae but witches and no courts). However the main character is an Ever - someone who switches through each season to take on that season’s magic. A magical novel of witches and the seasons that they are attached to in this story of the control of nature. I found it a very interesting premise. The characters are interesting and the story captivating.
I loved that Claire was an 'everwitch', attached to all seasons. Her power is vast and she has to learn to deal with her own changes with each season. ...more
