"Things once tied to magic don't lose it easily."
I just checked the page length on this and was shocked that it was 448 pages, because it felt like such as easy read. I went into this thinking it would be a Little Red Riding Hood retelling, and it was...somewhat, and also a bit of Beauty and the Beast and Snow White to make this Frankenstein-esque new fairytale about a Wolf, a Princess, and a living forest.
