I want 100% on board or really into this book at first. It took a bit to get me hooked but once I started to care about the characters then my feelings about the book started to change as well. I ended up really liking to book at the end. I liked the cliffhanger they left us with and I just wish I could go right into book 2. I'm afraid I'll forget about the characters and the plot by the time the next book gets released.

I really wanted to like this book. It had Marissa Meyer’s Heartless feel to it, but I was stumped and bored by the end and disappointed. There’s only so many times you can be annoyed by a main character’s flaws. She has a good heart, and good intentions, but she doesn’t listen to any of the other characters in the story who are trying to help her and it’s infuriating.
