Gideon comes to kill Rune, and Rune proposes a truce because they are really on the same side, though they have a hard time admitting it. This is a dual POV book, and if these characters would just talk to each other, there wouldn't be so much misunderstandings. Gideon hates witches because the witch queens tortured him and his family, but he can't just admit that he loves Rune, even though she's a witch. I swear you start reading this book and just can’t put it down !

I devoured it !

I adore Rune and Gideon’s love !
It took a while to get there - we had lies , betrays, misconceptions and being on opposing sides of a war didn’t help !
But it’s just beautiful !

Such a great series 🤍
