I read this book because of a promise I made to someone. I told her that I would give it a try. It was just ok for me. I liked the story, however, the "thought within thoughts" drove me crazy. Also the use of "hee hee" all the way through it. I understand that it was a book about teenagers, but I think that the authors tried too hard to "be a teenager".

I thought this book would be a leisurely summer read. I was wrong! After the first few chapters, I couldn't put it down. I had to know what would happen next.
I really liked the twist that the authors put on vampirism and how changes take place. Incorporating the Native American traditions and beliefs was especially intriguing. Love this new series! Twilight lovers should pick this up! It's fantabulous!
