I thought Graceling was an excellent book until I read Bitterblue! It is amazing, I can't say enough how much I enjoyed this book. Cashore has cemented herself as one of the top fantasy writers ever with this novel.

I really liked this third book in the Graceling realm, and I loved how the author tied in Fire. Very nicely done. I loved Bitterblue the character. She was devoted to doing what was right, and had very admirable qualities, making it easy to stand behind her as the reader. I'm not a fan of some of the moral issues Cashore always throws in her stories, but since they aren't the brunt of the story line, they don't bother me.
