such a great continuation of the alchemyst. there were more monsters and better fights. josh and sophie and their aura's continued to be the focus, but there were some interesting wrenches. the story ended with quite a few unanswered questions, i can't wait until June of 2009 when the sorceress comes out. read it, live it, love it! ...more

This is actually 3 1/2 stars.

I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I am excited to read the next installment.

Recommended for ages 14 and older.
