After watching Paris fall to Dr. John Dee, Nicholas Flamel flees the city with Sophie and Josh Newman, hoping to find someone who can teach them Water Magic. Unfortunately, the only person capable of this feat is the insane individual known as Gilgamesh, both mad and immortal.

Even though this is book 3, I was able to follow it with no problem and it was a great adventure/fantasy book. Many myths and legends, as well as sorcery involved. Great series to recommend to fantasy lovers.
