What Members Thought

The love-triangle RUINED it for me. I don't even care who Jacinda ends up with at this point. I really don't. I liked Will in Firelight, but I didn't care for him in this book (honestly, didn't even give him a second thought, which might be because he was barely in it). I was neutral towards Cassian in Firelight, and I ended up disliking him in this book.

Lasting impressions: The threat of the draki hunters pervades this entire book, which I found raised the stakes of this plot when compared to Firelight. I love danger!
Conflicting impressions: While I love the draki shifter world, I don’t find Jacinda and her love inter ...more

I actually liked this one more than the first book in the series. It has some great character development and emotion. The ending was fabulous and I can't wait to see what happens. The only drawback for me was some of the sexual content, brief, but still there.
