I wanted to like this book. I really enjoyed the first, and this one had a lot of potential, but unfortunately, like far too many YA novels, the conflict is dependent on *nobody communicating with each other*. The big reveal at the end felt forced and contrived, and the romance between Tris and Tobias just felt like it came to a dead-end, also replacing real conflict with lack of communication. Good continuation to the first book. But like all middle books, it seems difficult to maintain the suspense. Can't wait to read the third and final book.
