Yet another excellent entry in this series. I really loved this book! As always, the stakes were high, surprising or outright shocking things got revealed, there were some sweet romantic moments, the characters grew, new gods or creatures were introduced and there was some great humor! I really enjoyed this book. Not surprised, since I have loved all the Percy Jackson books (in both series). I really enjoyed getting to know all the characters better. Finally a little more insight into the mysterious brooding Niko. I loved every second that Percy and Annabeth were in Tartarus. I loved how they came in contact (in one way or another) with monsters they killed in the past. I love Rick Riordan's writing style and The Heroes of Olympus series is my second favorite of all his series. I love mythology and he does a great job of bring any and all mytholgy to life in a fresh and new way. I find the characters to be engaging and to feel really real. I love how he weaves the mythology into modern times so you feel like you are learning something as you are being entertained. ...more

loved it!!! Loved getting the perspectives of all the different characters. Loved the reintroduciton of so many monsters from the past. loved, loved, loved!!! Now have to wait until next fall for the next one.
