I finally finished this. It's only taken me almost two months.

What to say...it sufferes from the 2nd book in a series curse. I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it. I just feel, huh. Okay.

Few surprises and lots of whining. I felt like I was listening to Bella as an Angel. Or maybe Edward as an Angel. It felt Twilight-esque.

I will read the next one, because I have a feeling the next one will be better. I guess we'll see.

I liked this one better than the first one. I think mainly because I like Luce a little better than this one. She was less ignorant and stood up for herself more. I mean I totally get the fact that Daniel was trying to protect her, but I'm siding with Luce on this one. He was being a jerk. I hate it when the guy thinks they know everything and he thinks the girl is an idiot. Ugh. Can't wait to see what happens next! ...more

I enjoyed this book better than the first. It flowed better and I liked more of the characters. I'm getting annoyed with not being told anything about luce's past. It's book 2 we should be given something more. In this book I just find Daniel as annoying as Luce. The storyline worked for me but I just kept shaking my head at their lame choices. No swearing and pg teen romance. Will continue to the next. ...more
