I wanted to like this book since I have enjoyed the other books in the series, but I just couldn't. I tend to have a hard time being willing to suspend disbelief when a story touches on religious ideas or myths that I have strong real life beliefs about. Especially when those ideas are so not in harmony with what I believe to be true. Okay, I know. It's fiction. I LOVED this series, and after reading this book, I was like "really?!" So I disagree with her god, it is not the God of angels. Of course his creations would have free agency just like we do. But anyways, I hated how this book ended. It was crazy and weird and not at all what I had hoped it would be. There were loose ends (like who actually broke Cam's heart?) and twists I did not see coming. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. ...more
