Buen final para esta trilogía. En un principio los dos últimos capítulos me han dejado una sensación agridulce a medida que los iba leyendo, pero cuando he llegado al final me he dado cuenta de que era así como tenía que terminar (y al mismo tiempo empezar) la historia de June y Day.

Finally a Dystopian trilogy that didn't fall flat. I really enjoyed watching Day adjust to his new life and struggle with his impending death. I was glad that June didn't ever really settle into life as a politician. I never thought that was right for her and I was glad to see she agreed. I was happy with how all the character's stories wrapped up, even Thomas. This book wasn't quite as suspenseful and action-packed as the other two, but Day and June were in different circumstances from the begi ...more

The saga of Day and June comes to a conclusion(ish) in Champion as the tension between the Colonies and the Republic turns into war. I'd lost the rhythm of the two main characters, and the book primarily keeps them separated from one another...so the romance vibe was a bit lost for me. There are more disease/plague/mutation issues in this one, and I honestly didn't grasp that bit. However, I really liked the view of Antarctica as a high-tech metropolis. A very satisfying ending to a great trilogy. I just love the two leads, June and Day, so much. Marie Lu's writing pulls you into the characters' emotional journeys in a real, exhilarating, moving way. ...more

Very satisfying ending to a well written trilogy.

This was a great conclusion to the trilogy! Plenty of action and adventure and all the questions got answered. And I particularly liked the ending. This ended on a lot of hope.

Such a perfect ending for the trilogy: satisfying, right, heartbreaking all at once. Awesome world building yet again.
