What Members Thought
Take Twilight, mix liberally with Doctor Who, and add a dash of Logan's Run and you have Across the Universe. This book reads very fast and is a lot of fun. The first of a trilogy, I am really looking forward to the next one.

My thoughts:
I wasn’t sure what to expect going into this book. I’ve heard so much about this book and I’m sure glad I read it. I thought the book was great. I actually listened to half of it on audiobook and found it to be really enjoyable! I liked seeing the perspectives of Amy and Elder and how they alternated. I thought it was interesting reading about Godspeed and all of the ships hidden secrets and lies. I didn’t realize that there was going to be a murder mystery also! I generally don’t ...more

I love loved loved loved this book. It was introduced to me as Battlestar Galactica in YA book form and it was fantastic. I definitely recommend it!
This was a really good YA sci fi book. Like most good sci fi, there are a lot of questions that it asks about society and the nature of humans.
Weird book...intriguing, but I could have done without the lust fest...ugh!
