4.5 stars -I want the next one now! This started off as an atypical YA paranormal - it got better the further on into the book. Looking forward to the next one.

Sophie is a witch who made a spell which backfired big-time at the prom. So she is sent to Hecate Hall, a school for Prodigium (Fae, Witches, Shifters and a Vampire) who have had similar problems are sent to study. Murders and attacks on students as well as rivalries and typical teen angst but for those who have powers make for a fast and fun read. There is a lot more going on than is realized. The diverse characters are interesting and I look forward to reading more in the series. And I just KN ...more

My thoughts: I loved this book! I thought it was a great read. So, if you haven’t read this yet, I’ll tell you a little about it. The main character of the book is Sophie.
